these two photos from Perceiving Identity show i really like his idea of recreating his past how he has done this photos makes you feel like you could be standing right there

this looks like such a old style of school photo |
this one is from a campaign for glassons i must say this is one of my favourites of his that i have seen i think this is because of the way the subject is interacting with the boxes but not so much as to make them the subject of the photo
after visit thoughts
after the visit from russ flatt i understand this work a lot better and how he did this series i think the idea of recreating most rembrail scenes from your childhood is a great idea i just wouldn't like all the work that goes into it
my photo response idea for russ flatt is to recreate an old photo of me practising my violin under a tree im going to add the original photo when i can find it.
this is the photo that i'm trying to recreate
in the original photo that i'm trying recreate i'm sitting under a tree in my grandpops yard i didn't knows this till yesterday but my mum says it was taken not long after my nana died .in the photo im wearing a tee and some sweat pant things and im barefoot my thinking with this photo was to add some innocents in to the photo so i added some angel wings white gloves and little halo headband thing i also had a wig on to hide my messed up hair.
i think i nearly got this photo right i wish i had the photo with me when i was doing this shoot
for the next part of this response i thought i do me as i am now the gothic rock sassy women that 1 am i think i got this pretty right
Can you talk some more about your photographs? Did your idea for these photos work? And what are you portraying in the final two photos? How are they different from the first image you posted?
