week 2 vantage point fore/mid/background

vantage  points

vantage points oh what fun lol (well at least some times watch out for birds ) theses 22 photos are from this weeks in class exercises they are a mix of high and low vantage points wide and narrow DOF .

(f/45  1/40  iso 200  15.63 mb )

  1.  OK for this first photo i was testing my settings it is very over exposed but i still like how it turned out with the green leaves out lining the stone and with the lines from the concrete and the windows in the background.
this is the same rock i edited this in photo shop for a week 3 exercise butt thought it would be good to see the details of the rock.

( f/16.0  1/100  iso 100  23.02 mb )
ok for exercise  2 i was looking to capture the lines of the power pole for 1 of my leading lines photos  and i think i did it very well . with out the shadow of the power pole this would be a very plain and uninteresting photo the shadow really makes the picture the lines in this photo lead your eye up though the photo and to the right .

(f/16.0 1/60 iso 100  )
for this photo  i was trying to capture how the green edges of  roof looks like a pair of birds wings  in flight from this Angel this photo is also one of my leading lines photos with how the roof leads your eye from the left upper corner to the right side the power lines also do this the finaly the bricks on the front of the building lead your eye down to the bushes.

( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 23..48 mb )
this is another leading lines photo  but is also one of my wide angel portraits i like this photo but now know that i should have moved in closer to get more detail on the trees and a slower shutter speed so i could capture the movement of the trees .

( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )
with this photo i was tiring to capture some ants but my shutter speed was to slow and i might need a better micro lens  . i still like how this photo turned out with the different levels with the grass and the broken concrete the texture in this photo is great .

i like the effect of this photo but wish that i had centered on the first log .

( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )
( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )

i love the lines of the fire truck and the power lines overhead (also just like fire trucks )

(f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )
( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )
( f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )

(f/16.0 1/60 iso 100 )
( f/22.0 1/15 iso 100)
(f/8.0 1/50 iso 100 )
(f/22.0 1/20 iso 100 )

now both these photos where taken with a f stop of 22.0  and an iso of 100  but the top  one was taken at 1/20 and the bottom one was taken at 1/50  the bottom one came out a lot brighter than the top i think this was because the sun came out from behind the clouds for a moment
( f/22.0 1/6 iso 100 )
( f/22.0 1/6 iso 100 )
( f/32.0 1/4 iso 100 )

i just released all these photos have a iso of 100 lol i think that may stay as my main iso  for my photos it has served me well so far .
